- 3. Restore Clean Files — If you have a clean backup, I restore from that and patch forward. If there’s no clean backup, I reinstall WordPress core and rebuild what’s needed — it takes a bit longer, but it gets done right.
- 4. Patch & Harden — Once the site is clean, I update WordPress, all plugins, and themes. I set up a security configuration that locks down common entry points and makes the site much harder to compromise again.
- 5. Verify with Google & Your Host — I submit a reconsideration request to Google to clear any ‘dangerous site’ warnings, and I coordinate with your host to get any suspension lifted.

- Don’t install plugins from sketchy or unknown sources
